To poetise time

The association of time and the poetry of words gave birth to the Buci universe. Our collection of automatic Timepieces is the result of the work and passion of French watchmakers and artists. This first edition is limited to 300 watches, all of which are numbered.

Buci was born when watchmaking and poetry met. Like poetry that crosses time, the Buci watch is timeless. Both elegant and pure, our first unisex model offers several choices of face colours: red, beige and green.

Our aesthetic choices were guided by a sense of refinement and detail, like the way a poet chooses the subtle words they write.

Just like the face, highlighted by a finely textured decoration that resembles a sheet of paper, to recall the poetry of the time that surrounds us. At the four cardinal points, our feathered hour markers delicately embrace the face. All our straps are made of leather and hand-crafted in the centre of French watchmaking. Each strap is engraved with a message, a poem: "When you have time, you have freedom" and "This moment is all there is". The engraving is available either on the outside, or more intimately, on the inside. All our straps can be easily swapped in a few seconds. The heart of Buci watches beats to the rhythm of the Newton-Soprod automatic movement, which is entirely manufactured in the French and Swiss Jura mountain range. Tracing their path around its poetic face to the rhythm of your movements, our Sage Leaves hands remind you that it is time to dive into a poem and suspend time. They are manufactured in the last remaining French hand factory.

Your Buci presentation case holds your timepiece along with its poetic strap and a volume of poetry. The latter contains quotations from the artists of our first competition on the theme of time.
