PEQUIGNET
The art of difference cannot be cultivated without independence
Pequignet is one of the last truly independent French watchmaking companies that retains control over its creations and production. Like any handicraft company, it is made up of men and women who share a common history and whose love of fine objects is blended with the ambition to serve and promote an authentic luxury brand.
Pequignet, the jewel of the French watchmaking industry: Since 1973, Pequignet has stood out for its know-how and its own vision of watchmaking and jewellery. Originally, Emile Pequignet became known for the original design of its watches, conceived to meet a growing need among women for jewellery watches. In 2011, the brand took up the challenge of creating its own manufacture movement which, for the first time in France, integrates all of its watchmaking complications into the same deck. The Calibre Royal was hailed as exceptional in its performance, beauty and precision. Then Pequignet became the only French Haute-Horlogerie manufacture producing exceptional watches that combined both historical know-how and remarkable design.
The collection has maintained its incredible success since 1973, embodying throughout the world a certain expression of the "French touch", a subtle alliance of sophistication and sobriety. Like any craft company, it is made up of men and women sharing a common history and whose love of superior work is combined with the ambition to serve and promote an authentic luxury brand. Day after day, all these talents ensure Pequignet's reputation. Based in Morteau (France), Pequignet has been certified as a living heritage company (Entreprise du patrimoine vivant - EPV), national certification which distinguishes French companies with excellent craft and industrial know-how.
