Kelton was founded in 1955, with roots in both the United States and France, under the leadership of Stéphane Boullier, a watchmaker in Besançon, who was entrusted with part of the production for the American giant Timex on the condition that he simultaneously create a French brand: Kelton.
ZoomHaving become the quintessential French watch brand and a pillar of our pop culture, Kelton reigned supeme in the mass-market watch sector for several decades. It distinguished itself through its disruptive distribution model and its youthful, joyful spirit, shattering a few clichés of French society thanks to its offbeat marketing and its famous musical jingle: F# A, F# B... F# A, B F#: “Vous vous changez, changez de Kelton.”
2020.
The brand is relaunched by two shareholders. Our approach involves revisiting the brand’s core elements and aligning them with today’s consumer trends.
From these principles emerged four major watch collections featuring original designs, aimed at a clientele that, beyond the nostalgia the name Kelton evokes for some, appreciates quality and beauty.
In addition to these four major collections, we have collaborations and licensing partnerships. These provide opportunities to develop the Kelton style in keeping with its heritage and thus further enrich its product offering.
