STATEMENT
The art of silver jewellery
Statement comes from founder Amélie Huynh's belief in counter-current jewellery, inspired by Art Deco sophistication and the minimalism of brutalist architecture. The pieces are crafted in a workshop using unique know-how and each one carries all the symbolism of silver: contrasting light and dark full of femininity and mystery.
Passionate about jewellery since her childhood, Amélie Huynh first joined a major Maison on Place Vendôme, where she learned about jewellery design and manufacturing.
In 2018, she set herself the challenge of creating a brand inspired by her artistic influences, such as Art Deco and brutalist architecture.
Through Statement, she offers singular and architectural creations, symbolising the expression of inner strength. By creating sculptural jewellery pieces in rhodium-plated sterling silver with natural diamonds, she has established herself as a trailblazer.
Statement is based on three pillars:
Respect for craftsmanship: Statement jewellery is handcrafted by craftsmen using the traditional technique of lost-wax casting. The workshops where the pieces are made ensure the respect of the know-how, craftsmanship and compliance with the safety measures.
Social responsibility: Chosen with rigour and conscience, these workshops also ensure the well-being of employees, half of whom are women. In particular, they work for their financial independence, by committing themselves to equality of pay.
Responsible sourcing: The diamond and precious metal industries have a shady side, which requires buyers to guarantee their origins.
Statement workshops and suppliers are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, and our diamond dealer has signed the Kimberley Process, an international certification protocol that guarantees the origin of diamonds.
