Creator of contemporary watches. Inspired by the past, fascinated by the future.

FOB Paris is a contemporary watch brand founded by Aurélien, Laurent and Sari, three engineer friends, all passionate about art and creation. They draw their inspiration from the past and from their fascination for the future to write the story of aesthetic, innovative and modern watches. Each watch is made in France and is a unique piece of jewellery that embodies their vision of a past projected into the future.

Trained in the most prestigious French engineering schools, Aurélien, Laurent, and Sari learned mechanics and engineering sciences. They then discovered fundamental physics, a fascinating subject where time is a major subject of study. Which became an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Passionate about art, fashion, the idea of giving substance to their inspirations appeared very soon after they graduated. They trained in design, watchmaking and jewellery, and imagined their first timepiece, a radically modern pocket watch, in 2012. Their work broke away from the traditional watch industry and was quickly noticed by prestigious craftsmen and designers, who they had the chance to collaborate with, to continue their training and expand their watchmaking explorations.

All FOB Paris watches are certified “Made in France”. Developed in our Design Office in Besançon, the watches are all assembled in Paris in the FOB Paris workshop, in the heart of the Marais. Very manual and meticulous work, each watch will spend several days between the workbench and the control desks. The adjustment and finishing of the movement first, then the assembly of the components, and finally, 72 hours of quality control, before leaving the workshop. Working closely with watchmakers, FOB Paris designers are constantly playing with the limits of watch creation. Which can mean creating extraordinary pieces. Twice a year, FOB Paris presents a new project, produced with designers and artists who bring their exceptional creativity to French watchmaking. These exceptional pieces are presented under the Time Capsules collection.
