In 1867, Emmanuel Lipmann set up a small watchmaking workshop in Besançon.
A genuine pioneer, Lip has written the history of watchmaking techniques over 155 years of innovations and exclusive creations, based on elegance and sophisticated design affordable to all.
In over 150 years, Lip’s watchmaking expertise has developed in a unique way, flying in the face of common sense, starting out by making watches intended for everyone, and going on to make watches for the biggest and the best. Today, Lip watches are still assembled in the brand new workshop in Besançon.
