Lorige is a bold idea dreamed up by two car racing professionals, synonymous with mechanical excellence at every level. It offers passionate enthusiasts the memory of an exploit every time they wear their Lorige timepiece.

The brand combines the hi-tech traditions of motorsports with Swiss watchmaking excellence, to produce a watch that embodies the memory of a unique moment. Using a unique patent, Lorige hones each of its watch cases from brake pads taken from racing cars with international standings. The glorious memories of racing circuit exploits are ingrained in the hi-tech carbon-carbon material.
Each unique timepiece carries a certificate bearing the name of the race associated with the car component. Lorige timepieces are the product of cutting edge technologies and give car racing enthusiasts the chance to wear a motorsports memory on their wrist. Carbon/carbon is a hi-tech material designed to withstand the most extreme temperature variations and gruelling race conditions. Its use in sports car brake pads made it the ideal memory-bearing material for Lorige.
Because of their volume, brake pads provided an ideal prototype material from which watch cases could be honed. It took three years of R&D to find out how the material could be processed to produce our unique timepieces. Our ground-breaking patented process is now used to produce single-piece watch cases through a seven-stage process, from machine shop to water-proofing, requiring hours of precision manufacturing and the most demanding quality controls.
