Persée, the first creation from Maison Alcée, is a desk clock you assemble with your own hands, including the mechanical movement. It comes in a case with a book that is both a compendium of clockmaking expertise and a work of art in itself. There are 233 components, over 95% of which were made by and for Maison Alcée in the French and Swiss Jura mountains, together with the professional tools needed to assemble the timepiece, some of which have been specially adapted to make them easier for the novice clockmaker to use.
