Le Rendez-Vous: A successful debut
From October 2 to 5, Le Rendez-Vous, the first event dedicated to the creative scene in French jewellery, organised by Francéclat’s Emergence programme, took place in Paris during Fashion Week. Bringing together a curated selection of 24 brands, exhibitions and a series of talks, the event offered industry professionals the opportunity to discover the diversity of maisons and key players shaping the sector today.

For this inaugural edition, French and international buyers from 70 countries attended, confirming the demand for an event dedicated to the jewellery sector during Fashion Week.
The international Top 5 highlights the presence of key strategic markets:
1/ Italy

3/ United States
4/ Spain
5/ Germany
Attending buyers included Allan Joseph, Baycrews, Beams, Bernardelli, Bloomingdale’s, Dover Street Market Tokyo, Fortnum & Mason, Isetan, Le Bon Marché, Lodenfrey, Lulli, Madlords, Merci, Michelle Farmer Palm Beach, Printemps, Selfridges, The Bungalow Palm Springs, The Webster, Tomorrowland and Vakko, among others.

As Cyrille Vigneron, Chairman of Cartier Culture and Philanthropy, highlighted during the opening keynote: “What characterises France is its ability to welcome people from all backgrounds, with a great diversity of perspectives, styles and individuals who are able to work together.”
Finally, the success of the interactive map, which listed more than 125 key events and highlights from the French and international jewellery sector, demonstrates the strong interest among buyers and industry professionals more broadly in a sector that has now become an integral part of Fashion Week.
Hervé Buffet, Managing Director of Francéclat, explains: “Le Rendez-Vous was born out of this ambition: to give greater visibility to an industry that is evolving, innovating and reinventing itself, by harnessing the momentum of Paris Fashion Week. The quality of the audience and the feedback from both brands and buyers confirm the relevance of this format. We now know that Le Rendez-Vous helps showcase the diversity and vitality of French creativity more clearly.”
