MINERALOSOPHIE is an independent Parisian house of sculptural jewellery, founded by Kari Gueham, artistic director and sculptor. At the intersection of jewellery, sculpture and contemporary art, the house creates handcrafted pieces in Paris, produced in limited series or as unique pieces.
Each creation emerges from the encounter between a gesture, a memory and a material whose history predates the jewel itself. Ancient precious woods, recycled natural horn, precious, fine and biogenic gemstones are chosen as much for their beauty as for the traces of time and transformation they carry.
At MINERALOSOPHIE, matter is never considered inert. Every cut, every polish, every assembly reveals and extends its memory rather than erasing it. Kari Gueham’s hand enters into dialogue with the material, revealing its singularities and allowing a new form to emerge.
Sculpted and handcrafted in Paris, MINERALOSOPHIE creations exist between jewellery, object and sculpture. They explore the relationships between nature, culture, craftsmanship and contemporary art, conceiving jewellery as a presence worn on the body.
The collections explore universal forms and archetypes, games, the hand, wood, metamorphosis, to reveal what materials tell us about our relationship with time and the world. Each jewel thus becomes the witness to a transformation: a memory of matter carried on the body.
