The creative story of QITTERI begins with an idea. The idea of inventing a new world of colour and light by assembling innovative geometries, playing with diffractions and the direction of light emissions.
To implement this idea, QITTERI approached Michel TORTEL, a trained architect and designer specialising in urban lighting. Winner of numerous international awards, with a passion for engineering and solid jewellery know-how, his protean vision has enabled him to design the astonishing QITTERI collections, opening up new aesthetic territories, offering unprecedented combinations of rare gems, combining age-old know-how and innovation.
Each QITTERI jewel is conceived as a work of art, an abstract painting. The stones are chosen and tried on at different times of the day to perfect the balance of light. The design is simple and refined. For some pieces, it evokes a form of timeless classicism, art deco or contemporary architecture. But the lines and patterns are dictated by the search for the best possible light path.
Our pieces are entirely handmade in France and Italy.
Our collections are exclusively made of 18-carat rhodium-plated white gold, mainly from recycled materials.
