Depancel is a French brand whose mission is simple: to offer lovers of beautiful mechanics automatic watches that are sporty, elegant and of high quality, reflecting their passion for automobiles. Unlike traditional watch brands, Depancel relies on a business model based on co-creation and pre-ordering. Their goal is to put beautiful timepieces on the maximum number of wrists, and here is how they are going to achieve it.
First, the brand asks the opinion of its community: from the collection of details to the final design of each product, they are the ones to say what they desire, which universe and designs they prefer, and which characteristics they want to see in their watches. Afterwards, the products are sold directly and through pre-orders. Thanks to this model, the production of most components and their assembly are initiated according to what has been ordered. This model is designed to ensure quality rather than quantity, and offers greater creative freedom to the brand while limiting the risks associated with over-stocking. The watches are sold at incomparable value for money and come with a 5-year warranty.
