Family cutlery manufacturer Jean Dubost was founded in 1920 near Thiers, the capital of French cutlery. For 4 generations, it has manufactured kitchen knives and flatware with the purest respect for French tradition. A know-how of excellence, which combines both tradition and innovation, rewarded and recognised with the “EPV“ Living Heritage Company label since 2012.
Jean Dubost is committed to preserving local employment, passing on know-how to future generations, and maintaining its historic partnerships. Resolutely focused on preserving the environment for future generations, since 2008 Jean Dubost has developed a wide range of "Eco-Responsible" cutlery and kitchen knives, using innovative materials such as plant-based biomaterials, recycled plastic waste or PEFC oak wood from sustainably managed forests. Jean Dubost is also the first French cutlery maker to be PEFC certified since 2009. Our values of social responsibility, environmental preservation and strong territorial roots have enabled us to obtain the "Committed and confirmed CSR" label issued by AFNOR certification.
Historical manufacturer of the well-known Laguiole design, our know-how and brand are renowned worldwide.
